Whether you enjoy tutoring and mentoring refugee children, coordinating state wide events, walking the MAI fashion show's runway, providing victims of domestic violence and immigrant women with life skills, or anything in between - there may be opportunities for you.

Volunteers & Interns make a difference in the everyday lives of the people they serve.
There are many reasons for wanting to volunteer and you will most likely have a special reason of your own. Whether it's to give back to the community or just to gain experience; your time, dedication, and talent will be appreciated by those you serve.
Who Volunteers or Interns
MAI volunteers come from around Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. They represent many cultural backgrounds and bring with them a wide variety of perspectives, experience, expectations, and approaches.
How to apply

To start this process, please fill MAI's Volunteer/Internship Application here.
Someone from our office will contact you to schedule a brief, informal interview once you have submitted a completed application. This process may take 2 weeks.
