— Muslim Alliance of Indiana

There has been a continued increase in the number of immigrants  who are victims of domestic violence and require specialized support services that take into consideration cultural and religious beliefs. In order to address this gap, the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute has provided sponsorship funds to the  Muslim Alliance of Indiana (MAI) to organize a full day of programming. In partnership with Turning Point Domestic Violence Services, MAI has organized a workshop  that will offer domestic violence providers, social workers, physical and mental health providers,  law enforcement,  and the legal community, with valuable training and skills.
